Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 24, 2018, RPC, Inc. issued a press release titled, "RPC, Inc. Announces 43 Percent Increase in Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend." The press release announced that the Board of Directors increased the dividend by 43 percent from $0.07 per share to $0.10 per share to be payable March 9, 2018 to common stockholders of record at the close of business on February 9, 2018.
