Rosneft Submitted to the Bank of Russia a Mandatory Offer for the Acquisition of Bashneft Ordinary Shares from Minority Stockholders

Moscow, October 28, 2016 - In accordance with the Russian legislation Rosneft today submitted to the Bank of Russia a mandatory offer for the acquisition of 55 466 137 Bashneft ordinary shares, comprising 37.52% of the total number of Bashneft ordinary shares.

In conformity with the procedure set by the law the Company will publish the content of the mandatory offer after the termination of the term provided by the statute for the preliminary review of the mandatory offer by the Bank of Russia. The maximum amount of Rosneft liabilities within the mandatory offer will not exceed RUB 206 bln.
