Rosenbauer, the international fire equipment provider based in Leonding, Austria, intends to acquire G&S Brandschutztechnik AG based in Mogendorf, Germany. For this purpose, an agreement on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in G&S Brandschutztechnik was signed with the owning company.
As part of its growth strategy, Rosenbauer began to build up the stationary fire protection segment a few years ago. In this business area, Rosenbauer uses its many years of expertise in the field of foam extinguisher technology to expand its business activities to stationary applications.
Over several years, stationary fire protection was developed successfully with interesting projects, but further growth requires adding more solutions to the range of services.
The G&S Group focuses on the installation of fire protection systems. The company most recently generated revenues of EUR 14.3 million with 130 employees. The G&S Group is active from planning, production, installation to the service of systems for preventative fire protection. It offers standard and special extinguisher systems (sprinkler, water spray, foam, gas, water mist, and kitchen extinguisher systems) and the installation of fire alarm systems. The Group has VdS installer accreditation for all major systems and is able to install systems according to all established international standards (FM, UL, NFPA).
