(of which Rompetrol Rafinare and Rompetrol Well Services are member companies) notes the recent reports in the Romanian and Polish press about the interest from Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen SA (PKN Orlen) and Chimcomplex (CHOB) in respect of the business of KMG International group.

KMG International group, from time to time, engages in discussions with various parties regarding potential transactions and/or cooperation with respect to various development options, to the extent such cooperation can prove to bring additional value or synergy with the businesses of KMG International.

No transaction is currently in a definitive stage, and there is no certainty that any transaction will be forthcoming with any of the potential partners.
