Following the announcement on 12 February 2016 that Lewis Booth would stand down as Senior Independent Director once a successor had been identified, Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Sir Kevin Smith as Senior Independent Director. This appointment will take effect after the Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2016, and Lewis Booth will continue in role until then. Lewis will continue as a Non-executive Director and chairman of the Audit Committee.
