Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the gold and base metal-focused resource company, announces that it has been notified that Nicholas Walley, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has today purchased 250,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.81 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Nicholas Walley holds 51,715,800 Ordinary Shares, which is equivalent to approximately 8.17 per cent. of the Company's total issued ordinary share capital.
