First FAA Flight Over People Approval Granted to Operator Using ParaZero’s SafeAir Mavic

Drone Safety Systems company, ParaZero Limited ( ASX: PRZ ) ( ParaZero or the Company ) is pleased to announce that the North Dakota Department of Transportation has secured a FAA waiver for operations over people using ParaZero’s SafeAir Mavic + ASTM Professional Kit. This is the first waiver that has been approved using ParaZero’s new product for the Mavic 2. The waiver follows a series of 3 previous waivers granted to operators using ParaZero’s SafeAir Phantom.

The waiver and UAS operations over people are part of North Dakota’s (UAS) Integration Pilot Program (IPP) which is designed to help the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) create new regulations that will enable the safe and secure integration of UAS (drones) into national airspace systems.

ParaZero continues to solidify its leading position in the market as it is currently the only parachute developer whose systems have been used to secure waivers for flight over people.

ParaZero declared compliance with ASTM F3322-18 for the SafeAir Mavic earlier this month following a successful series of 45 aerial deployment tests, validated by Northern Plains UAS Test Site (one of the seven designated FAA test sites). Testing included failures in various scenarios including single-motor failure, full-motor failure, hover, forward speed and shock-load tests.
