Robert Walters, the leading international recruitment consultancy, today announces that Martin Griffiths is stepping down from the Board with effect from 1 August 2013 to focus on his new role as Chief Executive of Stagecoach Group plc. 

Martin was Chairman of the Audit Committee and was the Senior Independent Director.  He will hand over the Chairmanship of the Audit Committee to Brian McArthur-Muscroft who joined the Company on 1 May 2013.  Andy Kemp will take over as Senior Independent Director.

Leslie Van de Walle, Chairman of Robert Walters, said: "We are delighted that Martin has been appointed Chief Executive of Stagecoach and wish him every success in the future.
