Retirement of Executive Director – Gavin Ball
RLF AgTech Ltd ( RLF or the Company ) (ASX: RLF) advises that Mr Gavin Ball has informed the Board of his decision to retire as an Executive Director of the Company, effective 30 June 2026.
Mr Ball has been a longstanding contributor to RLF, having commenced his involvement with the business in 2012 and playing a key role in the establishment of RLF AgTech Ltd in 2017. He has served on the Board since that time and has contributed significantly to the development and evolution of the Company.
Most recently, Mr Ball stepped into an executive leadership role during a period of significant transition for the Company. During this time, RLF undertook a comprehensive restructuring of its operations, reset its strategic direction, and strengthened its financial and operational foundations. This transformation has positioned the Company for its next phase of disciplined commercial execution and growth.
The Board acknowledges Mr Ball’s contribution in supporting the Company through this period and his role in facilitating the transition to the current leadership structure.
As previously announced, Mr Stuart Upton has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, following a successful period in senior operational leadership, and Mr Ben Barlow has been appointed Chair. Under this leadership, the Company has completed its restructuring phase and is now focused on execution, revenue growth and scaling its commercial operations.
Mr Ball has advised that, with the Company now in a strong and stable position, and after 9 years on the Board of Directors, it is an appropriate time to transition from his role.
His retirement reflects a planned and orderly evolution of the Board, consistent with good corporate governance and the ongoing renewal of skills and experience aligned to the Company’s next stage of growth.
RLF Chair, Mr Ben Barlow, commented:
"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Gavin for his long-standing commitment and contribution to RLF. Gavin played an important role during a critical period of transition for the Company, and we are grateful for his dedication and leadership during that time. We thank Gavin for his advanced notice of his intention to retire which will allow us to conduct a diligent and due process in finding a replacement director to join the Board as the company continues to scale up. We wish Gavin all the very best in his future endeavours."
