APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR OF WATER ASSETS

Duxton Water Limited (the Company/Duxton Water) (ASX:D2O) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alister Walsh as Director of Water Assets in Duxton Capital (Australia), the Company’s Investment Manager. Alister will be responsible for managing the Company’s water portfolios, including working closely with the team responsible for the management of Duxton Water Limited’s water entitlements.

Alister has an extensive background in agriculture and water assets, business development and account management. He began working for Waterfind Australia – a leading water exchange - in 2008. Between 2011 and 2012, Alister worked in Commercial Banking before returning to Waterfind as Manager of Trade, Policy and New Product. In 2014 he was promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Waterfind, which he held until April 2017, further developing his expertise in water markets and policy. During his tenure as CEO, Waterfind more than doubled its market share and became the largest exchange and water brokerage business in Australia

Alister grew up on a cropping and grazing property on the Murray River in South West NSW. He has seen the full extent of the development of the Australian Water Market, from engagement in the early 2000’s through family farming operations, to his time spent with Waterfind maturing the market over the last decade. Alister holds a Bachelor of Economics in International Agribusiness from the University of Adelaide.
