RIT Capital Partners plc ('RIT') announces today that Mike Wilson will step down with immediate effect as a non-executive director of RIT due to health reasons. 

Lord Rothschild, Chairman of RIT, commented:

"It is with great regret that Mike is stepping down from the RIT Board for health reasons. Our relationship goes back to the founding of St James's Place many years ago. Since his appointment to the RIT Board in 2013, he has made an invaluable contribution, as a director as well as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Remuneration Committee. Over these years, we have come to appreciate his wisdom, humanity and insights. On behalf of the Board, I thank Mike for his service to RIT."
