Major new accessories order in Asia
Bezons, December 1, 2016 - 6 pm - RIBER, a market-leading equipment manufacturer for semiconductor materials, is announcing a major accessories order for around €2 million with an existing customer in Asia operating in the display industry.
This accessories order, deliverable in 2017, complete the order for evaporation sources received in October this year, for this same industry.
This order confirms RIBER's commercial positioning in a fast-growth market segment, with opportunities for repeat orders over the next three years as customers ramp up their capacities.
ABOUT RIBER:
Riber designs and produces molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and cells for the semiconductor industry. This high-tech equipment is essential for the manufacturing of compound semiconductor materials and new materials that are used in numerous consumer applications, from new information technologies to OLED flat screens and next-generation solar cells.
Riber recorded €12.8 million in revenues for 2015, with 93 employees at the end of 2015. The company is ISO9001 certified.
