Two new orders for the molecular beam epitaxy market leader
Bezons, July 13, 2010 – 7:30 am – RIBER, the global leader for molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), is announcing that it has signed two orders for research machines
Riber has received two new orders for two European research institutes which are leaders in their fields, supplying Compact 21 and Epineat model MBE machines.
The world's top-selling MBE research system, the Compact 21 offers unrivalled flexibility for use in the ultra-vacuum development of compound semiconductors. For their part, the Epineat range systems represent the most effective solution for the small-scale development or production of compound semiconductor materials on 4-inch substrates.
These new orders confirm the relevance of RIBER's business model and its strategic choices based on:
• Continuing to further strengthen RIBER's leadership on the market for molecular beam epitaxy machines;
• Capitalizing on the installed base and growing sales of epitaxy equipment, spare parts and accessories, as well as the corresponding services;
• Releasing a range of high value-added equipment and services on the market for strong-growth application fields (thin-layer solar cells, OLED lighting and screens, etc.).
