REWAY GROUP: subsidiary company MGA awarded works worth 33 million euro for structural rehabilitation of highway viaducts in central Italy

The contract for granting the seismic safety of four viaducts on the A25 Torano - Pescara highway, was awarded to a consortium led by Webuild Group and participated by MGA and SPIC

(the "Company" or "Reway Group") (EGM: RWY), Italy's largest operator specialized in rehabilitation and maintenance of road and highway infrastructures, as well as the only organization in Italy capable of handling all the activities related to the restoration of bridges, tunnels and viaducts, announces that its subsidiary company M.G.A. S.r.l. - Manutenzioni Generali Autostrade ("MGA"), specializing in the restructuring and restoration of tunnels, bridges, and highway viaducts, has been awarded, as part of a consortium led by the Webuild Group, an order worth € 33 million (in share) for the structural rehabilitation of highway viaducts in Central Italy.

The works will be carried out within the contract for the seismic safety of four viaducts on the A25 Torano – Pescara Highway, assigned to the consortium led by the Webuild Group and participated in by MGA and SPIC.

The contract, whose total value is 131 million euros, will be distributed among the consortium members, with MGA receiving a 25% share (approximately 33 million euros), the lead company Cossi Costruzioni, belonging to the Webuild Group, receiving a 60% share, and the partner SPIC receiving a 15% share.

As part of the project, MGA will be responsible for the structural rehabilitation of the viaducts' piers, abutments, and foundations, employing around 80 workers and its fleet of technologically advanced vehicles and equipment.

The viaduct modernization works on the four viaducts of the A25 highway are an integral part of the "Strade Sicure" (Safe Roads) program and are financed with resources from the PNC, complementary investments to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The new contract further strenghtens Reway Group's leadership position in Italy in the field of rehabilitating works of art (bridges, viaducts, tunnels) in the road and highway sector.
