REWAY GROUP: to MGA new 36-million-euro contract to upgrade viaducts in Lazio region

The works - awarded by ANAS, to an ATI of which MGA is the leader - will last 3 years

Licciana Nardi (MS), Sept. 16th, 2024 - The growth of Reway Group S.p.A. (EGM: RWY) in road and highway infrastructure rehabilitation continues. The subsidiary MGA(Manutenzioni Generali Autostrade), which specializes in the renovation and rehabilitation of tunnels, bridges and highway viaducts, has won the European tender called by ANAS, a company of the FS Italiane Group, concerning the three-year Framework Agreement for the structural rehabilitation of viaducts located in some road sections in Lazio.

The order, valued at about 36 million euros for MGA, was awarded to a temporary consortium of which Reway Group's subsidiary is the lead member with a 59.83% share and of which Steelconcrete Consorzio Stabile is also a member.

In detail, MGA will deal with structural rehabilitation of bridges and viaducts in the roads of Lazio, employing about 50 workers including skilled workers and technicians.

Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2024, with a total duration of 3 years.

The order awarded by MGA further consolidates Reway Group's order backlog, bringing it to 1.045 billion euros, gross of the share produced so far in the third quarter of 2024, and further strengthens the Group's positioning in Central Italy, allowing it to continue its growth in road and highway infrastructure rehabilitation. For Reway Group's subsidiary, this is the second major order obtained in a matter of days, further demonstrating the Group's strong competencies in the renovation and rehabilitation of tunnels, bridges and viaducts.

As a result of the acquired contract, Reway's work portfolio consists of 32% highway tunnel work, 21% railroad work, 16% highway viaduct work, 12% highway safety and noise barriers, 17% other highway maintenance, and 2% civil engineering work.
