The Restaurant Group plc (the "Company" or "TRG") announces that Debbie Hewitt MBE, Chairman, will be stepping down from the Board with effect from 31st December 2021, in order to take up the role of Chairman of the English Football Association, with effect from January 2022, subject to ratification by the FA Council.

The Board has commenced a formal process to recruit her successor led by Graham Clemett, Senior Independent Director, and an announcement will be made in due course.

Other Disclosures

In accordance with s.430 (2B) of the Companies Act 2006, it is confirmed no payments will be made to Debbie Hewitt in connection with her stepping down from the Board, other than her usual Non-executive fees paid pro-rata.

There are no further disclosures required for the purposes of Listing Rule 9.6.11.
