RESMED TO WEBCAST FIRST QUARTER 2007 EARNINGS CONFERENCE CALL

SYDNEY, Australia, October 25, 2006 -- RESMED INC. (ASX: RMD), announced today that on Wednesday, November 9, 2006, it will release its first quarter 2007 earnings for the period ended September 30, 2006. ResMed will issue an earnings press release after 8:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Davlight Time (Aust EDT) and will host a conference call to review its quarterly and year to date results, market trends, and future outlook.

The conference call is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Aust EDT) and will be webcast on ResMed's website at www.resmed.com.
