Notice to Ineligible Shareholders of Pro Rata Loyalty Option Offer

We write to y o u as the registered h o lder of Se l ect Explora t ion Limite d ( “Select” or the “Company” ) sh a res ( ASX code SLT ) w h ose registe r ed address is outside o f Australia, New Zeal a nd , the Republic of M a uritius, Irel a nd, the Cayman Islands , the United Arab Emira t es and Mozambique (together the “ Eligible Countries ”) as a t today's dat e .

As advised in th e ASX announcement dated 2 Nove m ber 2012 a n d as detail e d by the Company in t h e re‐compliance prosp e ctus lodge d by the C o mpany on 11 Septem b er 2012, S e lect is und e rtaking a n o n renounc e able pro‐ra t a offer to Eligible Share h olders of l o yalty optio n s each exe r cisable at $ 0 .35 on or b efore 30 September 20 1 5 (“ Loyalty Options ”) a t an issue p rice of $0.001 per Loyalty Option and on the basis of one ( 1) Loyalty O ption for e v ery two (2) shares held at the reco r d date (“ Offer ”).

The Offer is ava i lable to all S elect share h olders regi s tered as sh a reholders a s at 5.00pm (WST) on the Record D ate of 31 J a nuary 201 3 whose reg i stered add r ess is in th e Eligible Countries (“ Eligible Shareholders ”).

The Offer is not being exten d ed to any S elect share h olders who s e registere d address is o utside the E ligible Cou n tries (“ Ineligible Shareholders” ).

This letter is to i n form you t h at you are n ot an Eligibl e Sharehold e r for the purposes of th e Offer and consequently you will n ot be able t o subscribe for Loyalty Options un d er the Offe r .
