Licensing Deal for Monoclonal Antibodies

Melbourne, Australia. 13 May 2005. Select Vaccines Limited, Victoria, Australia (ASX: SLT) today announced that it has successfully concluded a license agreement for the marketing and global distribution of its five proprietary monoclonal antibodies to the Hepatitis E virus, to Upstate USA Inc., USA.

The terms of the license deal are confidential but they include an initial license fee and ongoing royalty payments. The license has the potential to continue indefinitely, subject to satisfactory performance by both parties. Upstate anticipates sales of these products will commence in the second half of 2005.
