ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

Select Vaccines Limited ("the Company") today lodged a prospectus in connection with its new one for four non renounceable rights issue at \$0.13 per share with a free one for two attaching option to acquire one share at an exercise price of \$0.20 expiring 31 May 2008.

As the Company has completed allotment of all shares under its recent placement of 3,750,000 shares at \$0.14 each, those placement shares shall now be eligible to participate in the new rights issue. This means that the rights issue will now involve the issue of up to 11,765,326 shares together with $5,882,663$ attaching options to raise a maximum of \$1,529,492 before costs. The underwriting commitment remains at the limit of \$1,055,000 (ie 69% of the rights issue as opposed to 75% as previously advised).

The Record Date for the new rights issue remains 11 January 2006.
