Director/PDMR Shareholding

Renold plc, a leading international supplier of industrial chains and related power transmission products, announces the exercise of share options under the Company's 2013 Performance Share Plan by Robert Purcell, Chief Executive of the Company.

Robert Purcell exercised nil cost options over 1,065,089 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). The exercise of options will be satisfied by the transfer to Mr Purcell of 1,065,089 Ordinary Shares from the Renold Employee Benefit Trust.

Following this transaction, Mr Purcell, including the beneficial holdings of persons closely associated with him, has an interest in 5,808,878 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.58% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
