Australian and South Australian Ministers for Trade and Investment Media Releases Showcase Renascor - POSCO Strategic Cooperation and Offtake Agreement
Renascor Resources Limited (ASX: RNU) ( Renascor ) welcomes media releases from the Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, the Hon Dan Tehan MP, and the South Australian Minister for Trade and Investment, the Hon Stephen Patterson MP, showcasing Renascor’s Strategic Cooperation and Offtake Memorandum of Understanding with South Korean conglomerate POSCO[1] regarding Renascor’s planned Battery Anode Material operation in South Australia.
The media release from Minister Tehan states in part:
“[ T]he deal between Australia’s Renascor Resources and South Korea’s POSCO . . . [is] another example of the opportunities for Australian companies to supply critical minerals to the world.
Australia has the natural resources and industry knowledge and experience to become a world leader in the mining and supply of critical minerals .”
The media release from Minister Patterson states in part:
“ I congratulate Renascor and POSCO on this significant strategic cooperation which aligns with Australia’s Critical Minerals Strategy and the National Manufacturing Priority Roadmap.
This is a significant investment by Renascor in South Australia and provides our state with a new opportunity as the only graphite purification and refining centre for the battery supply chain outside the northern hemisphere. ”
