Rejlers to help newly arrived engineers enter the labour market

Rejlers has been commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to design a training concept for newly arrived engineers. With its extensive experience of railway-related courses, Rejlers will develop a course plan that will lead to participants being able to be employed in the railway sector after a year at the authority's Training and Education Centre, Trafikverksskolan.

The course will focus on planning of track, electrical power, signalling, telecommunication and canalisation and combine theory, practical exercises and work-place training. The course will also contain elements of project manager, law and the Swedish Transport Administration's planning process.

Some ten people at Rejlers are working on drawing up the training concept, which Rejlers is partly developing in collaboration with local authorities and organisations with knowledge of labour market measures.

The Transport Administration's objective is for the course to begin on 16 January 2017.
