ANNOUNCEMENT FOR APPOINTMENT OF A SUPERVISOR

Mr Jing Shikui resigned as a supervisor of Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection Company Limited (the “Company”) on 19th September 2001. Accordingly, a staff representative meeting of the Company was held on 19th September 2001 and Mr Zhang Mingqi was appointed as the Company’s supervisor. The term of office of the supervisor will be 3 years from 19th September 2001.
