Letter of Intent to Award Mining Contract
Regis Resources Limited – Rosemont Gold Project
MACA Limited (‘MACA’) (ASX: MLD) is very pleased to announce that it has received a Letter of Intent from Regis Resources Limited (‘Regis’) (ASX: RRL) advising of its intention to enter into a Mining Services Contract with MACA for the proposed Rosemont Gold Project, Regis’ third project in the wider Duketon region north of Laverton in Western Australia.
Formal contract award is subject to various factors including satisfactory completion of the Rosemont Gold Project definitive feasibility study (DFS) by Regis, statutory approvals, Regis Board approval of the development, and final negotiations of mutually acceptable contract terms.
MACA is currently providing mining services to Regis at both its Moolart Well and Garden Well projects and looks forward to further growth of the relationship at the Rosemont Gold Project.
Subject to formal award, the contract will be in the order of $220 million over a period of approximately 5 years. Services to be provided by MACA include various civil works and traditional open pit mining services currently being provided at both Moolart Well and Garden Well. Mobilisation to site is expected to occur in February 2013 with operations to commence shortly thereafter, subject to completion of the necessary approvals and contract terms.

Regis is a ASX 100 company with a market capitalisation in excess of $2 billion. It operates the Duketon Gold Project, which includes the Moolart Well Gold mine, the Garden Well Gold mine and the proposed Rosemont Gold Project.
