Resignation of Chief Operating Officer
Region Group (“RGN”) announces that its Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mark Fleming, has resigned after 10 years with RGN. Mr Fleming’s last day with RGN will be 24 December 2023.
RGN CEO, Anthony Mellowes, said “Mark has been a valuable member of the RGN executive team for in excess of 10 years, firstly as Chief Financial Officer and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. I would like to thank Mark for his contribution to RGN since 2013, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
RGN Chair, Steve Crane, said “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Mark for his outstanding contribution and dedication to Region Group. Mark made a significant contribution to the growth of the Group and its strong financial performance, including his stewardship of the Group’s financials and balance sheet during the COVID period. Mark has also been a valued and respected member of our Board since 2015.”
Mark Fleming said, “After more than a decade with the Group, I have decided that it is time for me to pursue new opportunities outside of Region Group. I would like to thank the Board and all of the Region team for their support, drive and commitment – it has been my privilege to work with you all.”

RGN ASX Annoucement - 26 September 2023
Mr Fleming will retire as a director of all RGN entities on 26 September 2023, including Region RE Limited.
As a consequence of Mr Fleming’s resignation, Resolutions 2 and 7 will be withdrawn from the agenda of RGN’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for 2pm (Sydney time) on Monday, 23 October 2023. However, the Region Board recommends approval of Resolution 6 which relates to Mr Fleming’s STIP for the prior FY23 financial year.
