Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

In accordance with Listing Rule 3.16.1, Region Group (ASX: RGN) (“RGN”) announces that following completion of an executive search process, Evan Walsh has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of RGN, effective today.

Mr Walsh is currently the Head of Finance and Technology at RGN, and has been with RGN since 2021. Mr Walsh is well credentialed for the CFO role having previously held a number of senior financial positions with Charter Hall and AMP Capital.

Mr Walsh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Professional Accounting, a Bachelor of Business (Finance/Funds Management) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mathematics).

Greg Inkson, who has been acting as Interim CFO since August 2022, will remain with RGN in the role of Head of Corporate Finance.

I would also like to thank Greg Inkson for his very valuable contribution as Interim CFO since stepping into the role earlier this year.”
