Appointment of Angus James as Non-Executive Director
As part of the SCA Property Group (ASX: SCP) (“SCP”) Board renewal process, SCP is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus James as a Non-Executive Director effective 9 December 2021.
Mr. James brings extensive experience to the SCP Board, with a career spanning over 30 years in corporate advisory and investment banking. Mr. James has previously served on a number of other boards and was previously the CEO of ABN Amro.
SCP Chair, Philip Marcus Clark AO, said “We are delighted that Angus has accepted our offer to join the SCP Board. Angus brings deep and broad investment and financial experience which will be of great value to the SCP Board.
As I noted in my speech at SCP’s Annual General Meeting held on 24 November 2021, we are also in discussions with a second candidate, who has complimentary skills, to join us in the first half of 2022. Once concluded, the second appointment will represent the culmination of the first stage of our Board renewal process which commenced in September 2020 following the retirement of a former Non-Executive Director of SCP at that time.
I would like to congratulate Angus on his appointment and look forward to his contribution and building on the continued success of SCP.”
