BOARD CHANGES AT SCA PROPERTY GROUP

As part of SCA Property Group (ASX: SCP) board renewal process, the SCP Board announces the resignation of James Hodgkinson OAM, and the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors, Steven Crane and Beth Laughton.

Resignation of James Hodgkinson as Non-Executive Director

Mr Hodgkinson today announced his resignation from the Board effective 31 December 2018. Mr Hodgkinson joined the Board in September 2012, shortly before SCP was listed and will have served on the Board for a period over six years.

SCP Chairman, Philip Marcus Clark AM, said “on behalf of the Board and Management, I would like to thank James for his outstanding service to the SCP Board and its unitholders. James was a member of the Nomination, Remuneration, Investment and Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committees, including a time as Chair of the Nomination Committee.

During the period of James’ tenure, SCP has grown substantially and most importantly, delivered on its initial promise to provide unitholders with stable and growing distributions. James has made a significant and valued contribution to our success through his deep knowledge and experience of the real estate and finance sectors and his strong analytical skills.”

Appointment of Steven Crane as Non-Executive Director

SCP is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Crane as a Non-Executive Director effective as at 13 December 2018.

Mr Crane brings extensive experience to the SCP Board. Mr Crane currently Chairs NIB Holdings and is a Non-Executive Director of Australian Pipelines Group. Mr Crane has previously served on a number of other boards and was formerly CEO of ABN Amro and CEO of BZW Australia.

Appointment of Beth Laughton as Non-Executive Director

SCP is also pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Laughton as a NonExecutive Director effective as at 13 December 2018.

Ms Laughton brings extensive Executive and Board experience with a career spanning over 25 years in accountancy, equity capital markets, and corporate advisory. Ms Laughton is a Non-Executive Director of GPT Funds Management, and is Chair of its Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Committee. Ms Laughton is a Non-Executive Director of JB Hi-Fi and Chairs the JB Hi-Fi Audit and Risk Management Committee. She was also a Non-Executive Director of Australand Property Group.

Mr Clark said “We are delighted that Beth has accepted our offer to join the SCP Board. Beth brings deep and broad experience and key skills which will be of great value to the SCP Board. We look forward to Beth’s contribution and building on the continued success of SCP.

These changes to the composition of the Board following Ian Pollard’s retirement in April 2018 represent the culmination of the first stage of our Board renewal process which was commenced in 2017, following an independent Board review.

I would like to congratulate Steven and Beth on their appointments and thank James for his tremendous contribution over the past six years.”
