ACCC Statement of Issues for the proposed takeover of Reef Casino Trust by Aquis

Reef Casino Trust ARSN 093 156 293 (RCT) have today received a Statement of Issues from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in relation to the proposed acquisition of RCT by Aquis Casino Acquisitions Pty Ltd ACN 166 108 701 (Aquis). The Statement of Issues reflects the ACCC’s preliminary views following an initial round of market inquiries and highlights the areas where the ACCC seeks further information before announcing its final view.

ACCC approval is a condition of Aquis’ takeover bid.

RCT proposes to work with Aquis and the ACCC to address issues identified in the Statement of Issues.

RCT will keep the market informed as required by the ASX Listing Rules.
