Director appointment

Reef Corporate Services Ltd, responsible entity for Reef Casino Trust advises that in accordance with the Reef Casino Trust constitution, the Chairman has appointed Ms Wendy Morris as a non-executive director to fill a casual vacancy. This appointment will take effect once Queensland Government Ministerial approval is received.

Ms Morris is currently co-leading the development and leading the marketing of a significant property development in Far North Queensland.

Based in North Queensland, Ms Morris’ business and professional experience included large reef cruise operations, hotel and resorts, tours and attractions and property development, including the funding and establishment of Mt Emerald Wind Farm.

Ms Morris currently holds board positions on The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, and is a member of the Management Committee for the Reef Trust Partnership. Some past board positions included being the Chair of Tourism Tropical North Queensland, the Chair of Tourism Port Douglas Daintree and a director of Tourism Events Queensland.
