Bridgemere Securities Limited (an entity controlled by the trustees of the Trinity Trust ("the Trustees"), a trust settled by Steve Morgan, the Chairman of Redrow plc ("Redrow"), in 1996 for the benefit of his family) has transferred 16,800,000 shares (representing 4.54% of the issued share capital of Redrow) for the benefit of Mr Morgan's children (the "Transfer"). The Transfer was made in accordance with a resolution of the Trustees as part of long-term inheritance planning.

Following the Transfer, Bridgemere Securities Limited holds 77,636,045 shares representing 20.99% of the issued share capital of Redrow.

A copy of the notification received by Redrow from Bridgemere Securities Limited in respect of the Transfer accompanies this announcement.
