RETIREMENT OF DIRECTORS

Hannans Reward Ltd (Hannans) advises that Mr Richard Scallan and Mr William Hicks have retired from the Board of Directors.

At a Directors meeting held yesterday Mr Scallan and Mr Hicks advised that after more than ten years of service to Hannans both gentleman considered it appropriate time to retire from the Board.

At the meeting Mr Scallan and Mr Hicks expressed confidence that Hannans has a very bright future based on the fact that Hannans' experienced Board and Management Team have the skills to maximise shareholder value by advancing the iron, copper and gold assets in Sweden towards development and then production.

Mr Scallan and Mr Hicks reinforced to the Board that iron, copper and gold are important metals that will remain in demand, that it is important Hannans advances towards production whilst maintaining costs, and that by remaining firmly established in one Europe's main mining centres (Kiruna) in a low sovereign risk jurisdiction (Sweden) Hannans is well placed for growth.

Mr Scallan and Mr Hicks asked the Board to express their gratitude to the Hannans Shareholders for the support shown to both the Company and themselves as Directors.

Mr Scallan and Mr Hicks were founding directors of Hannans in early 2002 and have served the Board and Shareholders with the highest levels of professionalism and commitment during their tenure. Their combined exploration and mining experience over a lifetime of involvement in the resources sector has enabled Hannans to capitalise on opportunities and manage the challenges that have confronted exploration companies during the last ten years.
