SPP Closes Oversubscribed

• Share Purchase Plan (SPP) closes oversubscribed

• SPP raises $1 million

• SPP shares to be allotted and issued on Friday, 11 September 2009

• SPP shares tradable on Monday, 14 September 2009

Western Australian minerals explorer Hannans Reward Ltd (ASX: HNR) confirms that the Share Purchase Plan (SPP) has been well supported by shareholders, with the Company receiving more than $1 million worth of SPP applications.

The original intention was to complete an SPP to the value of $750,000 however shareholders who applied for SPP shares in accordance with the SPP Terms and Conditions will now receive 100% of their SPP application.

The share registry will allot and issue the SPP shares after market on Friday, 11 September 2009 once all funds have cleared. Shareholders who have any enquiries in relation to their holding statements pending completion of the SPP should contact Computershare on 1300 557 010 (for Issuer Sponsored shareholders) or their stockbroker (for CHESS Sponsored shareholders). SPP shares will be tradable on Monday 14 September 2009.
