Board Changes

 Appointment of Chairman, Executive Director and new Non-Executive Director

Hannans Limited (ASX:HNR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jonathan Murray as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board (previously Non-Executive Director), Mr Damian Hicks as Executive Director (previously Managing Director) and Ms Amanda Scott as Non-Executive Director (previously Exploration Manager).

These changes strengthen the structure, composition and skills matrix of the Hannans Board and are designed to better align the Company’s corporate governance with best practice recommendations. Jonathan Murray has been a Non-Executive Director of Hannans since 2010, is a Senior Partner at independent Perth law firm Steinepreis Paganin and has over 20 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer. Damian Hicks was a founding Director of Hannans in 2002 and initially held the dual role of Executive Director and Company Secretary prior to being appointed Managing Director in April 2007.

Amanda Scott commenced as an exploration geologist with Hannans in 2007 and since 2008 has been Exploration Manager for companies within the Hannans Group. Prior to joining Hannans Amanda was an exploration geologist with De Grey Mining Ltd and Navigator Resources Ltd. Amanda has diverse experience within the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia exploring for gold, nickel, iron and manganese, as well as Scandinavia where she has extensive experience exploring for iron, copper-gold, nickel-copper-PGEs, lithium and graphite. During the last eight years Amanda has represented the Hannans Group at meetings in Australia, Finland, Sweden, USA, Norway, Germany and England and has made technical presentations to global majors and juniors during acquisition, divestment and joint venture processes.

Earlier this year Amanda established Scott Geological, a project management and geological consulting firm. Amanda is a Competent Person for JORC reporting purposes, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (Membership No.990895) and attained a BSc. Geology from the Victoria University of Wellington in 2003.
