Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Northgate plc ('Northgate'), the UK and Spain's leading specialist in light commercial vehicle hire, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Pattullo as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2019.  John's appointment follows the retirement of Andrew Allner from the Board, as per the announcement on 16 October 2018.

John, aged 66, is also a non-executive director (appointed 2013) and Senior Independent Director (appointed 2016) of Electrocomponents plc, and Chairman of V Group Ltd (appointed 2017).  His prior non-executive roles include being Chairman of NHS Blood & Transplant (2013-2017) and Chairman of Marken Logistics (2014-2016).  He was Chief Executive Officer of Ceva Logistics Ltd between 2007 and 2012.  Prior to that he held a number of senior appointments with Exel plc, DHL & Procter & Gamble.  John has an MA in Economic History from the University of Glasgow.
