Company Secretary Announcement

Northgate plc announces the appointment of Katie Wood as Company Secretary with immediate effect.  Katie joined Carrs Group plc as Assistant Company Secretary in 2010, before becoming Company Secretary three years ago.  She also acted as Counsel throughout this period.  She is a graduate of Manchester University, a qualified barrister and solicitor and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.  Her predecessor, David Henderson, has retired after 29 years in office and 47 years with the Company.

Andrew Page, Chairman said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank David for his 47 years' loyal service to the Company. He has provided wise counsel to the Northgate board over those years and we wish him a long and happy retirement. 

I am delighted that Katie Wood has joined us as Company Secretary; she is both experienced and well-qualified. I'm sure she will make a significant contribution to Northgate."
