DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Northgate plc ('Northgate'), the UK and Spain's leading specialist in light commercial vehicle hire, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick ("Paddy") Gallagher as Group Finance Director with effect from 22 February 2016.

His most recent appointment was Group Chief Financial Officer at Spirit Pub Company plc from 2011 until their acquisition by Greene King in June 2015.  Prior to that, he was Group Chief Financial Officer at The Rank Group plc from 2008 until 2011.  He previously held senior finance roles at Quadriga Worldwide, Dell Inc. and Wang International. 

Paddy, aged 52, is a chartered accountant and obtained an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Wadham College, Oxford University.

It was announced on 11 January 2016 that Chris Muir, currently Group Finance Director, will be leaving Northgate on 31 March 2016.  Chris will stand down from the Board on 22 February and will provide continuity over the period until he leaves.
