Proposed Acquisition of gold and copper-gold assets in Philippines

Transaction highlights

  • Acquisition of significant gold and silver resources (and copper-gold tenements) in the Philippines containing an Indicated Resource of 10,150,000 tonnes @ 1.2g/t Au for 393,000 contained ounces of gold and 1,427,800 ozs silver and an Inferred Resource of 3,800,000 tonnes @ 0.88g/t Au for 108,000 contained ounces of gold and 210,000 ozs silver with significant near term resource growth potential.
  • High grade intercepts below Archangel resources include 61m @ 5.1g/t Au, 64m@ 3.5 g/t Au, 52m @11.5g/t Au and 26m @ 4.03 g/t Au.
  • Large dominating camp scale exploration position 27,000 Ha (270 km²) at Batangas and 3,700 Ha (37km²) at Tapian San Francisco.
  • Assets well accessed via port and sealed roads with mains power nearby.
  • Well established and recognised social and environmental "license to operate" in the Philippines.

Transaction overview

  • Acquisition of Mindoro Resources' Philippine based gold and copper-gold tenements and projects in exchange for Red Mountain Mining shares
  • Following interests are to be acquired by Red Mountain Mining:
    • 100% interest in Batangas Project with JORC Indicated Resources of 0.393mozs Au and 1.4mozs Ag and Inferred Resources of 0.108mozs Au and 0.21mozs Ag , including Archangel – Kay Tanda resource and Lobo - South West Breccia resource and other gold and copper-gold projects within the extensive exploration tenements located on Luzon Island
    • 75% interest in copper-gold exploration tenements at Tapian San Francisco located near Surigao on Mindanao Island. Extensive Porphyryrelated alteration, copper-gold showings, IP geophysical anomalies.

  • Convert low grade/ high tonnage gold resource into higher grade near surface mineable reserves.
  • Use existing infrastructure to fast track development.
  • Explore large land holding and test multiple targets to establish long mine life.
