Perth, Western Australia: Red Mountain Mining Limited ( ASX:RMX ) is pleased to announce high grade gold surface trench results from a new lode discovery in the footwall of the South West Breccia (SWB) lode structure, on its Lobo Prospect at the Batangas Gold Project, 120km south of Manila in the Philippines.
The new results include a true width intersection across the new Footwall Lode of:
Trench 39: 2.1m @ 14.4 g/tAu, including 0.6m @ 41.5 g/t Au
In addition, further excavation of Main Lode, to the southwest, produced a true width intersection of:
Trench 38: 3.0m @ 12.1 g/t Au including 1.0m @ 27.2 g/t Au
Importantly, both the new SWB Footwall Lode and the SWB Main Lode intersections are open to the southwest (see Figures 1 and 2) where additional mapping and sampling is in progress.
The new results will be incorporated into a new SWB Lode corridor resource model, to include all recent high-grade surface trenching intersections produced during the 2015 trenching program (see Figures 1 and 2) including:
Trench 36: 4.5m @ 14.8 g/t Au including 1.0m @ 44.9 g/t Au from SWB Main lode – released 2 March 2015; Trench 37: 9m @ 28.9 g/t Au from SWB Main Lode and 11m @ 19.1 g/t Au from SWB Hangingwall lode (released 17 March 2015) and 3.5m @ 25.9 g/t Au including 1.5m @ 56.8 g/t Au and 0.5m @ 145 g/t Au from Limestone Target, at the southwestern end of the SWB lode corridor before it projects under younger limestone to the southwest (see Figure 2).
The new SWB resource model will be integrated with the existing Indicated Resource of 221,000 tonnes grading 6.3 g/t Au for 44, 800 oz Au at SWB (part of the total Batangas Project JORC 2012 Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 6.19 million tonnes @ 2.2 g/t Au, 444,000 oz Au, released 30 June 2014).
Once the new gold resource model for the high grade SWB Lode corridor is completed, the surface zone will be evaluated for early mining and potential toll processing and/or ore sales to either a Philippines or China based processing facility operator.
A second Chinese processing plant operator has expressed interest in toll processing and/or ore purchases from potential early mining of the SWB lode. This operator is visiting the Lobo site on 19 – 20 June and will take samples for metallurgical test work to determine the viability of generating a

high grade gold concentrate then transporting to, and processing at, their southern China based processing facility.
Red Mountain Managing Director Jon Dugdale said: “The discovery of a new high grade footwall lode at SWB opens up potential along the entire SWB Lode system. Further trenching, in progress, and ultimately drilling will test for extensions of this structure.
“Recent results are being incorporated into a new resource estimate, to be assessed for it’s early mining and toll processing and/or ore sales potential.”

About Red Mountain Mining Limited and the Batangas Gold Project
Red Mountain Mining (ASX: RMX) is a gold exploration and development company which listed on the ASX in September 2011. The Company’s strategy is to unlock the potential of ‘under-developed’ gold and polymetallic projects in the greater Asian region by introducing Australian exploration and mining methods and improving efficiencies to gain significant exploration and production upside.
The Company holds a 100% direct and indirect contractual right interest in tenements in the Philippines that contain significant gold resources. Total Mineral Resources at Batangas include Indicated Resources of 2.97 million tonnes @ 2.4 g/t Au, 227,000 oz Au and Inferred Resources of 3.22 million tonnes @ 2.1 g/t Au, 218,000oz Au for a total of 6.19 million tonnes at 2.2 g/t Au, 444,000oz Au (ASX announcement 30 June 2014, JORC 2012). The Company is continuing exploration with the objectives of upgrading mineral resources at Batangas.
The Company announced Agreement with London backed, BVI registered, BMVL on 23 December 2014 which includes a two stage funding arrangement totalling US$5.5 million (~A$6.7 million), earning BMVL up to 50% of the currently wholly owned subsidiary, Red Mountain Mining Singapore Ltd, which is the holder of the Philippines based Batangas Gold Project assets.
Funding under the Agreement with BMVL will allow the Company to complete a DFS on the project, with initial results confirming low capital and operating costs and recovery of over 100,000 ounces of gold during the initial 5 years of production (ASX announcement 20 November 2014 and updated 23 January 2015).
Final mine development permitting submissions have been lodged with the Philippines Government (ASX announcement 3 April 2014) and are proceeding towards approval.
Other gold opportunities will be reviewed on a continuous basis.
