RED MOUNTAIN APPOINTS NEW COUNTRY MANAGER TO RUN PHILIPPINES OPERATIONS

Red Mountain Limited (ASX: RMX) (“the Company”, “Red Mountain”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Geoffrey Boswell to the position of Country Manager, the Philippines. Mr Boswell has also been appointed the Chairman of Red Mountain’s Philippines subsidiary, MRL Gold Inc.

Mr Boswell brings a wealth of in country experience in the Philippines and advanced project management and geological skills to the Company. He has over 25 years’ experience in exploration, exploration management, mining, resource assessment and environmental assessment, predominantly in gold and copper projects. In the Philippines, Mr Boswell has been responsible for management of exploration teams and technical programmes from regional studies and reconnaissance to mine exploration.

He has held senior management positions with OceanaGold Ltd, Crazy Horse Resources and Copper Development Corp.

Mr Boswell has also provided geopolitical advice to explorers and has sourced projects and provided project evaluation advice to companies in the Philippines. His expertise also includes successful community development and relationship programmes throughout the Philippines.

Red Mountain Executive Chairman, Mr Neil Warburton commented:

Mr Boswell replaces Mr Tony Climie who has resigned as the Country Manager in the Philippines, following his appointment as the CEO of Mindoro Resources Ltd. Tony has skillfully managed the initial Red Mountain exploration programmes on projects that he has been associated with for over 15 years. Red Mountain wishes Mr Climie all the best in his future endeavours.
