REACTION FROM RECYLEX SA

Suresnes, February 7, 2013: Recylex SA has been surprised and shocked by recent letters and public statements ordering the Company–with no legal grounds–to pay €6 million and announcing the seizure of property from its head office for the benefit of the employees of the company Indra. The Recylex group has no relationship whatsoever with Indra and this campaign is totally unfounded.

At the request of Recylex SA, the Lille Administrative Court has today suspended the order to pay €6 million, which is groundless, and suspended the decision to seize, without any powers to do so, the property of the Company. In the Court's opinion, these decisions seriously and evidently unlawfully infringe Recylex's rights.

In addition, the Lille Administrative Court has ordered the mayors of Auby, Rouvroy and Evin-Malmaison, being the authors of these letters and statements, to refrain from entering the Company's premises for the purpose of seizing its property.

Recylex SA, which senior management team has been completely overhauled since 2005, faces up to its obligations, including both those arising from the rehabilitation of its former mines and closed sites and those incorporated in its continuation plan adopted by the Paris Commercial Court in 2005.

Recylex's priority remains safeguarding the Group's 650 jobs in Europe and smoothly executing the continuation plan, which allows the business to continue operating.
