Mr. Etienne Davignon, member of the Board of Directors of Recticel since 1992 and Chairman of the Board since 2004, informed the Board of his wish to no longer exercise these responsibilities after the General Shareholders Meeting of 26 May 2015.

Taking into account this intention, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the recommendation made by the Nomination Committee to propose to the General Shareholders Meeting of 26 May 2015 the nomination of Mr. Johnny Thijs as new Board member. Subject to this nomination, the Board of Directors intends to elect Mr. Thijs as new Chairman of the Board at that moment. The Board has also decided to invite as from now Mr. Johnny Thijs to attend its meetings.

Mr. Etienne Davignon, membre du Conseil d'Administration de Recticel depuis 1992 et Président du Conseil depuis 2004, a fait part au Conseil de son souhait de ne plus exercer ces responsabilités à l'issue de l'Assemblée Générale des Actionnaires du 26 mai 2015.

Prenant en compte cette intention, le Conseil d'Administration a unanimement approuvé la proposition du Comité de Nominations de proposer à l'Assemblée Générale la nomination de Mr. Johnny Thijs comme nouveau membre du Conseil. Suite à cette nomination, le Conseil a l'intention d'élire ensuite Mr Thijs comme nouveau Président du Conseil. Le Conseil a également décidé d'inviter dès maintenant Mr. Johnny Thijs à assister à ses réunions.

Dhr Etienne Davignon, lid van de Raad van Bestuur van Recticel sinds 1992 en Voorzitter van de Raad sinds 2004, heeft de Raad op de hoogte gebracht van zijn wens om zijn verantwoordelijkheden niet langer uit te oefenen na einde van de Algemene Vergadering van Aandeelhouders van 26 mei 2015.

Rekeninghoudend met deze wens, heeft de Raad van Bestuur unaniem ingestemd met het voorstel van het Benoemingscomité om dhr Johnny Thijs als bestuurslid voor te dragen aan de Algemene Vergadering. In navolging van deze benoeming wenst de Raad vervolgens dhr Thijs te verkiezen tot nieuwe Voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur. De Raad heeft tevens beslist om voortaan dhr Johnny Thijs uit te nodigen op haar vergaderingen.
