Recticel b.v. (The Netherlands) yesterday announced its intention to streamline its flexible foam operations in the Netherlands by closing its comfort foam converting unit in Bladel by mid-2012.
The planned redeployments affect 51 employees. Together with the trade unions, the best possible social support measures will be sought.
The estimated costs of closure, which to a great extent are included in the results of the fourth quarter of 2011, are largely neutralised by the expected capital gain on the sale of assets.
