R8 Property ASA: Recreate ASA registered as new name

Porsgrunn, May 23th 2022.

Reference is made to the Extraordinary General Meeting in R8 Property ASA on 20 May 2022.

The extraordinary general meeting passed the following resolution: Effective upon registration in Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises, the company's name is changed to Recreate ASA and article 1 of the articles of association shall be changed to the following:

‘’The company’s name is Recreate ASA. The company is a public limited company.’’

The new name has now been registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. In connection with the change of name, the company will also change its ticker symbol on Euronext Growth from “R8P” to “RCR” effective from May 25, 2022.

The name Recreate is a sign of international ambitions, but first and foremost to a company that is concerned with "recreating". Recreate can be understood as giving new life or energy to something, while the word gives associations to recreation. Property and people are at the heart of everything we do and everything we are. For example, a slightly shaky flower meadow was recreated into Powerhouse Telemark, one of the world's most sustainable buildings - and the former Prime Minister's and riding master's residence Inkognito Park in Oslo is currently being recreated into a sustainable and high-tech building. One of the most sustainable things we do is to take care of existing property by rehabilitating rather than building new, but it is also about how we can create a good life between the buildings, how we can create good local communities where people want to work and live. This is where recreation is extra important.
