Recce Pharmaceuticals Appoints Michele Dilizia as Chief Scientific Officer
Sydney Australia, 30 September 2020: Recce Pharmaceuticals Ltd ( ASX: RCE ), the Company developing New Classes of Synthetic Anti-infectives, is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Michele Dilizia to the role of Chief Scientific Officer. Ms Dilizia will also continue her role as Executive Director and as member of the Board of Directors.
Recce Pharmaceuticals Non-Executive Chairman Dr John Prendergast said, “As Co-Inventor of Recce’s Synthetic Anti-Infectives, Michele’s significant contributions to the Company reflects her strong scientific acumen and deep expertise in synthetic anti-infectives. Michele has demonstrated leadership and expertise that has been instrumental to the development of RECCE[®] compounds. As Michele takes on her new role, the Board is confident in her ability to continue advancing the Company’s clinical initiatives.”
Ms Dilizia’s specilisation is in medical microbiology and regulatory affairs. Michele successfully co-led the research and development of Recce’s suite of anti-infective compounds, resulting in a portfolio of granted patents across the globe, including a Qualified Infectious Disease Product designation with the FDA.
Chief Scientific Officer Michele Dilizia said, “I am delighted to have been appointed this role by the Board and it has been my privilege to contribute to the development of a unique technology like RECCE[®] Anti-Infectives. Ms Dilizia will deliver the Opening R&D Address at the World Anti-Microbial Resistant (AMR) Congress in the coming week, where she will present ‘ Synthetic Antibiotics: The New Approach the World Needs ’ to be centred around Recce’s leading anti-infective pipeline in the space.

Attachment 1 – Ms Michele Dilizia – Key Terms and Conditions of Employment
Effective Date
30 September 2020
Term
Appointment on an on-going basis subject to termination by either party.
Fixed Remuneration
$230,000 per annum comprising base salary and superannuation.
Short/Long Term Incentives
Any short or long term incentives will be considered by the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and will be announced to the market when any such incentive is put in place.
Termination and Notice
Ms Dilizia may terminate the Employment at any time and for any reason by giving to the Company 2 months’ notice in writing.
The Company may terminate the Employment at any time and for any reason by giving Ms Dilizia 6 months’ notice in writing.
