REC Silicon ASA - Disclosure of shareholdings

Aker Capital AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aker ASA, has today, 19 January 2021, transferred all of its 91,995,551 shares in REC Silicon ASA (the “Company”), equivalent to 24.70% of the shares and votes outstanding in the Company, to Aker Horizons AS (under name change to Aker Horizons Holding AS) (“AHH”), at NOK 16.62 per share. AHH is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Aker Capital AS, held through AH TI AS (under name change to Aker Horizons AS).

Following this transaction, Aker Capital AS holds zero shares in the Company directly, but continue to hold indirectly through AHH 91,995,551 shares in the Company, constituting 24.70% of the Company’s shares and votes.
