Sub: Intimation regarding completion of tenure of Independent Directors of REC Limited (“REC” / “the Company”).

महोदय / महोदया ,

Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that in terms of Order dated April 17, 2025 read with corrigendum dated May 21, 2025 issued by Ministry of Power, Government of India, Dr. Gambheer Singh and Dr. (Smt.) Durgesh Nandini were appointed as Part-time Non-Official (Independent) Directors on the Board of REC for a period of one year with effect from the date of notification of their appointment or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Accordingly, in terms of aforesaid orders of Ministry of Power, the tenure of Dr. Gambheer Singh and Dr. (Smt.) Durgesh Nandini as Part-time Non-Official (Independent) Directors has ended on April 16, 2026 and they ceased to be Directors of REC with effect from April 17, 2026.
