Sub:- Additional charge of the post of CMD to Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Director (Technical), REC.

Dear Sir(s),

This is in furtherance of our letter dated June 1, 2020 inter-alia intimating about superannuation of Shri Ajeet Kumar Agarwal, Director (Finance) of REC, who also held additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), on May 31, 2020.

In this regard, it is now informed that Ministry of Power, Government of India vide Order dated June 12, 2020 (copy enclosed), has communicated that the Competent Authority has assigned the additional charge of the post of CMD, REC Limited to Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Director (Technical), REC for a period of three months with effect from June 1, 2020 i.e. upto August 31, 2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In pursuance of the said Order, Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta has taken over additional charge of the post of CMD, REC Limited.
