Supplementary Circular to Shareholders relating to New World Resources N.V.'s Proposed Acquisition of Lubelski Węgiel "BOGDANKA" Spółka Akcyjna
New World Resources N.V. ("NWR" or the "Company"), Central Europe's leading hard coal and coke producer, announces today that it has published a Supplementary Circular to Shareholders relating to NWR's proposed acquisition of Lubelski Węgiel "BOGDANKA" Spółka Akcyjna, as announced on 5 October 2010 (the "Proposed Acquisition").
The purpose of the Supplementary Circular is to update Shareholders on the matters described in the Class 1 Circular posted on 13 October 2010, and, in particular, to provide information on a change to the conditions applying to the Proposed Acquisition.
An Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (the "General Meeting") seeking, amongst other things, Shareholder approval for the Proposed Acquisition has been convened for 24 November 2010, further details of which were set out in the notice of the General Meeting and accompanying explanatory notes published on 13 October 2010.
Copy of the Supplementary Circular has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection on the website: www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do
The Supplementary Circular and other documents relating to the General Meeting are available on the Company's website (www.newworldresources.eu) and are also available for review at NWR's corporate office: Jachthavenweg 109h, 1081 KM Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
